2. So what would be the fruit of the true Shepherds (Ministries)?
Please list 5 wolves' fruit %26amp; 5 true Ministers' fruit. It is written that you know a wolf (false prophet) by his fruit. So what is this fruit?
1 If a prophet, or one who foretells by dreams, appears among you and announces to you a miraculous sign or wonder, 2 and if the sign or wonder of which he has spoken takes place, and he says, ';Let us follow other gods'; (gods you have not known) ';and let us worship them,'; 3 you must not listen to the words of that prophet or dreamer. The LORD your God is testing you to find out whether you love him with all your heart and with all your soul. 4 It is the LORD your God you must follow, and him you must revere. Keep his commands and obey him; serve him and hold fast to him.
~Deuteronomy 13 (NIV)
16Therefore do not let anyone judge you by what you eat or drink, or with regard to a religious festival, a New Moon celebration or a Sabbath day. 17These are a shadow of the things that were to come; the reality, however, is found in Christ. 18Do not let anyone who delights in false humility and the worship of angels disqualify you for the prize. Such a person goes into great detail about what he has seen, and his unspiritual mind puffs him up with idle notions. 19He has lost connection with the Head, from whom the whole body, supported and held together by its ligaments and sinews, grows as God causes it to grow.
20Since you died with Christ to the basic principles of this world, why, as though you still belonged to it, do you submit to its rules: 21';Do not handle! Do not taste! Do not touch!';? 22These are all destined to perish with use, because they are based on human commands and teachings. 23Such regulations indeed have an appearance of wisdom, with their self-imposed worship, their false humility and their harsh treatment of the body, but they lack any value in restraining sensual indulgence.
~Colossians 2 (NIV)It is written that you know a wolf (false prophet) by his fruit. So what is this fruit?
The ';fruit'; being alluded to are members of the church.
Apostle Paul predicted that, after his death, false prophets would come into the flock (the congregation) and teach false doctrines and lead people (sheep or fruit) astray.
Apostle Paul (and the other apostles) taught that if a teacher taught a Jesus Christ other than what they were teaching that teacher would be a false prophet.
The fruit of a true minister would be believers that followed the teachings of the apostles.
The fruit of a false prophet would be believers that followed and believed the false teaching propagated by the false prophets.
Its just an expression, you know, as in ';the fruit of your labour.'; Fruit = result.
So the fruit of the false prophet (or wolf) is something bad. Literally speaking, the result (fruit) of having a wolf around is losing alot of sheep, because wolves eat sheep. And having false prophets around leads people into sin and away from God, so you also loose some of the human ';flock,'; which is no doubt the point of this metaphor.
The fruit (end result) of the true Shepherd are good and morally upright people.
19The acts of the sinful nature are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; 20idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions 21and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God.
22But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. 24Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the sinful nature with its passions and desires.
~Galatians 5 (NIV)
9I have written you in my letter not to associate with sexually immoral people鈥?10not at all meaning the people of this world who are immoral, or the greedy and swindlers, or idolaters. In that case you would have to leave this world. 11But now I am writing you that you must not associate with anyone who calls himself a brother but is sexually immoral or greedy, an idolater or a slanderer, a drunkard or a swindler. With such a man do not even eat.
12What business is it of mine to judge those outside the church? Are you not to judge those inside? 13God will judge those outside. ';Expel the wicked man from among you.';
~1 Corinthians 5 (NIV)
----------------------------
6I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting the one who called you by the grace of Christ and are turning to a different gospel鈥?7which is really no gospel at all. Evidently some people are throwing you into confusion and are trying to pervert the gospel of Christ. 8But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let him be eternally condemned! 9As we have already said, so now I say again: If anybody is preaching to you a gospel other than what you accepted, let him be eternally condemned!
~Galatians 1 (NIV)
1But there were also false prophets among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you. They will secretly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the sovereign Lord who bought them鈥攂ringing swift destruction on themselves. 2Many will follow their shameful ways and will bring the way of truth into disrepute. 3In their greed these teachers will exploit you with stories they have made up. Their condemnation has long been hanging over them, and their destruction has not been sleeping.
4For if God did not spare angels when they sinned, but sent them to hell, putting them into gloomy dungeons to be held for judgment; 5if he did not spare the ancient world when he brought the flood on its ungodly people, but protected Noah, a preacher of righteousness, and seven others; 6if he condemned the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah by burning them to ashes, and made them an example of what is going to happen to the ungodly; 7and if he rescued Lot, a righteous man, who was distressed by the filthy lives of lawless men 8(for that righteous man, living among them day after day, was tormented in his righteous soul by the lawless deeds he saw and heard)鈥?9if this is so, then the Lord knows how to rescue godly men from trials and to hold the unrighteous for the day of judgment, while continuing their punishment. 10This is especially true of those who follow the corrupt desire of the sinful nature and despise authority.
Bold and arrogant, these men are not afraid to slander celestial beings; 11yet even angels, although they are stronger and more powerful, do not bring slanderous accusations against such beings in the presence of the Lord. 12But these men blaspheme in matters they do not understand. They are like brute beasts, creatures of instinct, born only to be caught and destroyed, and like beasts they too will perish.
13They will be paid back with harm for the harm they have done. Their idea of pleasure is to carouse in broad daylight. They are blots and blemishes, reveling in their pleasures while they feast with you. 14With eyes full of adultery, they never stop sinning; they seduce the unstable; they are experts in greed鈥攁n accursed brood! 15They have left the straight way and wandered off to follow the way of Balaam son of Beor, who loved the wages of wickedness. 16But he was rebuked for his wrongdoing by a donkey鈥攁 beast without speech鈥攚ho spoke with a man's voice and restrained the prophet's madness.
17These men are springs without water and mists driven by a storm. Blackest darkness is reserved for them. 18For they mouth empty, boastful words and, by appealing to the lustful desires of sinful human nature, they entice people who are just escaping from those who live in error. 19They promise them freedom, while they themselves are slaves of depravity鈥攆or a man is a slave to whatever has mastered him. 20If they have escaped the corruption of the world by knowing our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and are again entangled in it and overcome, they are worse off at the end than they were at the beginning. 21It would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than to have known it and then to turn their backs on the sacred command that was passed on to them. 22Of them the proverbs are true: ';A dog returns to its vomit,';and, ';A sow that is washed goes back to her wallowing in the mud.';
~2 Peter 2 (NIV)

CJ has it right! Well, sort of? Fruit of a prophet is their speech, or what they simply say. Translated, it means, if they might say false things, it means that they are false. Dumb stuff, no?

Sorry, can't help you...
MY name is ';Wolf';, but I don't ';do'; Fruit.
I'm Straight.
His false teachings. False teachings are anything that goes against the Holy Bible.
Fruit, not fruits plural.
The bad fruit of false teachers is their doctrine. They teach false doctrines, and worst of all, they teach false gospels of works (Galatians 1:6-9), telling people the lie that they need works for salvation, or telling people the lie that they need works to ';prove'; their salvation, or telling people the lie that it is possible to lose or ';leave'; salvation.
Because the truth is that it is impossible to lose or ';leave'; salvation (John 6:39-40, 1 John 5:13).
by their deeds. They can tell other people the right things sometimes, but their deeds are evil.
Fruit. :)
