Was Pascal a false prophet? What are the odds on his wager?

Drink up!Was Pascal a false prophet? What are the odds on his wager?
The main trouble with his wager is that it doesnt tell you WHAT to believe, only to 'believe'. this could range from a Website Church to Shi'ism to Amish to anything.

Plus is it really possible to convince yourself that there is a god if all the evidence points the other way?Was Pascal a false prophet? What are the odds on his wager?
I think Pascal wager was pretty good. I know a guy who converted from atheism to theism because of it but he rejected churches and stuff. Basically pascals wager says imagine that some guy comes up to you and says under one this hat in my hand is 100 million dollar check, all you have to do is make the effort to get up and come over here. Well thats Like Gd.

See if you don't believe in Gd then you will have a very very hard time making it to heaven but it is possible. However lets say Gd doesn't exist ok well what have I lost on my death bed by believeing in him? 1 hour a week praying in church Which is nothing in terms of time. However if you don't believe in Gd, and he exist then you lost eternal happiness and will burn in hell for ever.

However if Gd doesn't exist you gain nothing by not believeing in him, as the average athiest spend 1 week thinking about religion as much time as the average crhistian spends in church.

So you see if a 100 million dolars is under a hat why would you not even try to life that hat?
Pascal's Wager falls when the following is proposed: What if God reserves a special Hell for those who believe in the qualities, or tenets, that are dictated within the Catholic Church?

If this is believed then the odds on going to Heaven through Pascal's Wager are nil and the followers are doomed if God does exist.
The only thing I know about Pascal is his triangle, and there is more in that than meets they eye, just not clever enough to work out the mathematics, but is to do with dimensions.
Hmmm, odds are missing the point aren't they. He never claimed to be a prophet - just a pragmatist.
Vegas is giving 10:1.
I don't know but I'm going to believe it just in case. I've got nothing to lose by doing so.
Terrible odds, if you factor all the other gods in too.

*drink*
WTF??
I suffer enough without making that judgement! ;)
No more false than the self proclaimed apostle, Paul...
Better safe than sorry, what have you got to lose?
He wasn't a prophet..
