What in the number 'One' sign of a False Prophet?

If they are on TVWhat in the number 'One' sign of a False Prophet?
the RolexWhat in the number 'One' sign of a False Prophet?
Their prophecy contradicts what if documented in the Bible. A close second would be that their prophecies never come true.
The prophet that asks you to harm yourself or someone else.
just being one is enough
Not sure if this is ';the one'; but a big one is to speak a prophesy and have it not come to pass within a year of when he or she said it would come to pass. They used to stone false prophets for that offense in the Old Testament.
who justifies his own prophecy.
That they claim to be one.
Their prophecies fail
The 'prophet' part?
complete your answer!!!
He is' false'- He does not speak truth..........
There are several signs of a true teacher/prophet, and I've found them to be true. Check it out at the Starlight Journal article Characteristice Of A Spiritual Master... http://www.umsonline.org/Reading/PastIss鈥?/a>
sorry dont know
those that preach about false prophits....those who say obey me or die.....those who kill in the name of religion....peace be with you

Why do Christians call other religion's god and prophet false god and false prophet?

only by christians muslims and jews any thing except by their god is sent for religion is false they are a bunch of narrow minded people who have war over religion and this is what their god did to people

It always amazes me how many times this God orders the killing of innocent people even after the Ten Commandments said “Thou shall not kill”. For example, God kills 70,000 innocent people because David ordered a census of the people (1 Chronicles 21). God also orders the destruction of 60 cities so that the Israelites can live there. He orders the killing of all the men, women, and children of each city, and the looting of all of value (Deuteronomy 3). He orders another attack and the killing of “all the living creatures of the city: men and women, young, and old, as well as oxen sheep, and asses” (Joshua 6). In Judges 21, He orders the murder of all the people of Jabesh-gilead, except for the virgin girls who were taken to be forcibly raped and married. When they wanted more virgins, God told them to hide alongside the road and when they saw a girl they liked, kidnap her and forcibly rape her and make her your wife! Just about every other page in the Old Testament has God killing somebody! In 2 Kings 10:18-27, God orders the murder of all the worshipers of a different god in their very own church! In total God kills 371,186 people directly and orders another 1,862,265 people murdered.

The God of the Bible also allows slavery, including selling your own daughter as a sex slave (Exodus 21:1-11), child abuse (Judges 11:29-40 and Isaiah 13:16), and bashing babies against rocks (Hosea 13:16 %26amp; Psalms 137:9).

This type of criminal behavior should shock any moral person. Murder, rape, pillage, plunder, slavery, and child abuse can not be justified by saying that some god says it’s OK. If more people would actually sit down and read the Bible there would be a lot more atheists like myself.

Jesus also promoted the idea that all men should castrate themselves to go to heaven: ';For there are eunuchs, that were so born from their mother's womb: and there are eunuchs, that were made eunuchs by men: and there are eunuchs, that made themselves eunuchs for the kingdom of heaven's sake. He that is able to receive it, let him receive it.'; (Matthew 19:12 ASV) I don't know why anyone would follow the teachings of someone who literally tells all men to cut off their privates.Why do Christians call other religion's god and prophet false god and false prophet?
Because that's what the Heavenly Father calls them.Why do Christians call other religion's god and prophet false god and false prophet?
To prevent people from waffling and being indecisive. The idea is to choose a path and move forward steadily, not waste time by jumping from side to side when it comes to choosing a spiritual direction.
Because Jesus said He is the only way. If He is the only way then all other ways must be false.
Not all Christians do this. Those of us that listen to Jesus know better than to judge other people. However, we as Christians would not recognize other religion's gods as a god because that would go against our beliefs.
Ten Commandments as found in Exodus 20---

1 And God spoke all these words:

2 ';I am the LORD your God, who brought you out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery.

3 ';You shall have no other gods before [a] me.

4 ';You shall not make for yourself an idol in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below. 5 You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sin of the fathers to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me, 6 but showing love to a thousand {generations} of those who love me and keep my commandments.

7 ';You shall not misuse the name of the LORD your God, for the LORD will not hold anyone guiltless who misuses his name.

8 ';Remember the Sabbath day by keeping it holy. 9 Six days you shall labor and do all your work, 10 but the seventh day is a Sabbath to the LORD your God. On it you shall not do any work, neither you, nor your son or daughter, nor your manservant or maidservant, nor your animals, nor the alien within your gates. 11 For in six days the LORD made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, but he rested on the seventh day. Therefore the LORD blessed the Sabbath day and made it holy.

Jesus, who is the Word of God and the Son of God and shares His Godhood with God the Father and the Holy Spirit, said that He is the way, the truth and the light....no man cometh to the Father but by Him.

The Bible has other passages regarding false prophets...if they prophecy something in the name of God that does not come true, it is not from God and they should be put to death. God's Word is always true. He never lies, that is of the devil who is the father of lies.
Pure arrogance
There is only one God and He is a jealous God.
Because if you truly believe that your religion is the truth, then all other religions must false... It makes perfect logical sense.
Because they are insecure in their own beliefs and thus feel threatened by beliefs that oppose theirs.

Thankfully, this does not apply to all Christians. Many of the Christians I know are happy to allow others to follow their faith in peace.

';There is only one God and He is a jealous God.';

Then why do you worship Him? Doesn't sound like a perfect deity to me.
Because that is what Christ said, and we who are Christians follow Christ.

Jesus said, ';I am the way, and the truth and the life...no one comes to the Father except through me.';
becoz they r fuc#ed up, from childhood to believe in bible

he is not a messiah so he got to be a false prophet if he gets elected you will see but it will be to late then
Not the Messiah and so far not a false prophet.
Neither. He is the next President.

How come many false prophets and anti christs have risen over the centuries?

And many different Gospels have arisen over the year? How was all this correctly prophesied if God doesn't exist?How come many false prophets and anti christs have risen over the centuries?
The Bible is written by men, but God spoke to those men in their dreams. The prophets then wrote God's words to them, and this became the Bible.

God told us that many false prophets would rise up and confuse many people...and that has come true?

Still don't believe in God? There are a lot more things that God said would happen that have not yet happened but will be happening soon.

How do I know? I read my Bible and read the prophesies and then see what is going on in the world.How come many false prophets and anti christs have risen over the centuries?
These are all the 25 true Prophets and Messengers of God for me, and I am not bothered about any other false Prophets, and Anti Christ hasnt appeared, it was prophesized, that he will first be spotted in this world with the Jewish armies in Istanbul, coming from Iran to attack the Muslims in Istanbul. (Does this mean that America will attack Iran in future?):

Broad prophecies are bound to happen. I foresee future false prophets, religious wars and natural catastrophes... There, you read it here first.
God does exist

there is false prophets and gospels but that is because people want to make money and people are stupid that they belive it
Because God does exist.
you got a lot to learn.

Does anybody else out there realize that Mohamed the false prophet had a 9 year old wife?

He was a middle aged man and is a child molester in my eyes.Does anybody else out there realize that Mohamed the false prophet had a 9 year old wife?
You bastar* ! Do you know anything more than indulging religiuos hatred and false propaganda.Does anybody else out there realize that Mohamed the false prophet had a 9 year old wife?
That's rong (texan for wrong)

Mohamed was married to a Catholic Nun. She drugged him and while he was loaded he would write crazy story's.

See if you can find the Jack Chick book about the true Mohamed
really? were did you hear that?
Yes. Did you know that this still happens today in many cultures? Didn't think so.
Go and read more about it.
What are you trying to gain here? To add more hate into the world? Instead of putting down Muslims, or any other religion for that matter, lets work on telling the world of Jesus and His forgiveness and salvation. ';go ye therefor into all the world, teaching all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father,Son, and Holy Spirit.'; that is the second to last verse in the book of Matthew. The internet is a great way to reach people from all over the world. Lets use this space and time wisely. I wonder if instead you had told of some miracle or life changing event that God has preformed in your life... maybe you could have saved someone. Keep up the effort, just refocus ok?
yup.
thats strange cause i thought it was 13 years old never a less its still underage in this days...but back then...it was not seen as unnatural. so can we realy carry things forward million of years ago. to the present day and say that the muslim community support this kind of act. because they do not support it. and it happened before even when us our ascesters and there ancesters were even alive..so lets live for today and forget what happened over a million years ago...lets face it the child molesters of today should be hung and quartered dont you think?
  • hair bands
  • Do you think Islam is setting itself up to be the beast & false prophet written about in Revelation?

    With all of its end time teaching of the Mahdi or the 12 Imam or Isu (Their Jesus), etc...?Do you think Islam is setting itself up to be the beast %26amp; false prophet written about in Revelation?
    Actually, me personal belief is that a new form of Islam will come about, possibly mixing with the Catholic Church and the two will become one world religion. I believe the Catholic church will suffer financially and be close to complete bankruptcy due to all the old and new lawsuits arising from all the sexual abuse scandals. In order to stay solvent, the Catholic church will be more than willing to join Islam, saving themselves financially and politically. This new world organization will be the ';Harlot'; referred to in the book of Revelation. When the worlds economies collapse and the offering plates are empty, the heads of the Catholic church will betray their followers by denouncing the Deity of Christ and joining Islam to create this New World Religion. The world will see this merging as a way to end war and bloodshed and the world will embrace it. I guess soon afterwards, a peace deal will be signed with Israel and all of the middle east. The world will be at peace and people everywhere will celebrate. According to Scripture, this peace will not last. God Bless You.Do you think Islam is setting itself up to be the beast %26amp; false prophet written about in Revelation?
    No. 12 imaams it shia concept. Mahdi is the descendent of the prophet Mohammad (saws). and Isa ( or Esa) is the real name of Jesus even in the bible before it got translated a 1000 times with all the cut and delete and paste each king did to support their dictatorship and pope did to support his church.

    No beast here lady, try looking else where...
    Same can be said about any religion against another. Maybe it's Christianity that is setting itself up to be the ';Beast'; in your Revelation? Consider that, or do you have a ';we're always the good guys'; attitude? Just curious...
    Errrm.......... probably not.
    No I dont believe that
    You are totally misguided. St.Paul was a false prophet

    Dont be blinded by your bible , okay?

    EDIT: Ryan T : LOL , You are right
    No. The Beast is the governments of this world. %26amp; heads = 7 continents.
    No, since Revelation (like the rest of the Bible) is fiction.
    lol your funny...';(their Jesus)';... Christians worship Jesus as part of the holy trinity, Muslims only worship God; cute question though.
    NO..........And can you stop watching Foxnews. If you look at news from the middle east not everyone is Al-Queda. These people are humans just like us trying to figure out the best way to survival. If you had a country in your backyard killing 100,000 civilians and raping the land and stealing natural resources you would want death to America as well. Opps! Im sorry I got off subject with the whole war thing.

    Sorry.....I disagree.
    no! i dont think so.

    what is wrong with them?

    its only the radicals and terrorist that do anything wrong, and them calling themselves islam? ha! religion is just an excuse to them.

    the people are just people, like anyone else, good and bad.
    No. It's Isa in Arabic. No Jesus/Isa(PBUH*) is not the 12th Imam. The thing about the 12 Imams is a Shia idea. Sunni don't believe in the 12 Imams.
    Only Beast i see is the one in the west that keeps going to east to massacre millions for some oil.

    Can you explain this islamic contradiction of the false prophet mohammad?

    Muslims claim that Muhammad always worshipped Allah in a 100% correct way, without the need for any restoral. My question is: If this is true, then why did Muhammad pray towards Jerusalem for the first 5 years of his prophethood, and later redirected his prays towards Mecca? Which is correct?Can you explain this islamic contradiction of the false prophet mohammad?
    most likely for pure political reasonsCan you explain this islamic contradiction of the false prophet mohammad?
    Yes Prophet (P.B.U.H) used to pray towards Jerusalem but afterward God revealed and commanded him to change the direction of prayer towards makkah.
    does it hurt u when i say to u that u worship the false god????

    does it hurt u when i say to u that u worship human????????

    does it hurt u when i say to u that u read the false bbok?????

    does it hurt u when i say to u that u will go to hell??????????

    i think that it hurt u so so much,so do i,u hurt me when u say Muahmmed(PBUH) is a false prophet without knowing anything about him.i do not know what is ur proplem but it seems to me that u abused a verse from the quran or u missunderstood it,anyway plz vist this site

    http://www.sultan.org/
    God order Him to change the 'kebla' (which is the place to direct ur prayers to) to macca.

    here it explains: in Quran ch2:143

    [143] .... And We made the Qiblah (prayer direction towards Jerusalem) which you used to face, only to test those who followed the Messenger (Muhammad (peace be upon him)) from those who would turn on their heels. .........';

    and seriously, we are not begging u to believe in Islam or no. u r not hurting us or benefit us in anyway. if u believer it's for ur own sake, if u don't then don't. we know that this religion is truly from ur Lord and Muhammad is the sealed of the prophets.
    No. And neither can you.

    God sends prophets, not men. You can believe someone is a prophet or not. But your belief is not the criteria. We do know that Jesus is returning.

    Since you like quoting John, we worship God in spirit and in truth, direction doesn't matter.

    God reveals and man observes. Your observation is not important in religious matters.

    Next time, read the Gospels carefully before claiming any prophet false.
    Songbird, your ';answer'; makes no sense. It's far too general to respond to, and it doesn't even begin to answer the question that was asked. You should delete it, and yourself.
    You're obsessed. Take a pill. Get help.

    But do God a favor. Put your Bible away and shut up.
    Can you expain the Christian contradiction of the false prophet Jesus Christ?
    I'm not a muslim, but I think its because Jews (or someone in Jerusalem) wouldn't help him when he needed it most.

    If the Prophet Muhammad(pbuh) is a false prophet...?

    then y is it dat the Quran posses so much facts about Science that were discovered until much later.If the Prophet Muhammad(pbuh) is a false prophet...?
    Muhammad is the founder of the religion of Islam, however is contrarily regarded by Muslims as a messenger and prophet of God, the last and the greatest law-bearer in a series of Islamic prophets as taught by the Qur'an 33:40–40. Muslims thus consider him the restorer of the uncorrupted original monotheistic faith (islām) of Adam, Noah, Abraham, Moses, Jesus and other prophets. He was also active as a diplomat, merchant, philosopher, orator, legislator, reformer, military general, and, according to Muslim belief, an agent of divine action.If the Prophet Muhammad(pbuh) is a false prophet...?
    The word ' Noor' in Arabic means light it does not mean borrowed light. No where in the Quran it says that the Moon has borrowed light. 'Muneer' does not mean borrowed light either it means luminous.

    There are no scientific miracles in the Quran. It has verses that contradict science. For example,

    1) According to Holy Quran mountains prevent earthquake or the shaking of the earth.In Sura Al Al-Anbiyaa (Chapter 21 verse# 31)

    It says

    '; And We have placed on the earth firm mountains, lest it should shake with them

    If Mountains are there to stop the earth from shaking, then why do we see so many earthquakes in mountainous regions?. For example, Japan is a mountainous zone but it has 1500 earthquakes every year.'Shaking of the earth' and earth quakes mean the same thing right? Mountains are created because of the movement of tectonic plates. They do not stablize the earth or prevent shaking of the earth. This verse is clearly in error

    2) The Quran In Sura Al Mulk (Chapter 67) Ayaat # 5 it says

    ';And We have adorned the lowest heaven with lamps,

    and we have made such (Lamps as) missiles to drive away Satans, ... ';

    So the stars were created by Allah as missiles to throw at the devils? In order to not let them eavesdrop on the heavenly council?

    The first ayaat says stars are lamps that is fine but lamps (stars) are not thrown at devils

    3)Are men created from ejaculated liquid from backbone and ribs according to the Quran?

    The holyQuran in Sura At Tariq ( Chapter 86 verse# 6-7) says

    '; He is created from a water gushing forth

    Proceeding from between the back-bone and the ribs';

    According to science there are two seminal vesicles behind the urinary bladder. The testicles produce only 5% of the semen. The seminal vesicles produce between 60 to 70% of the semen content per ejaculation. The seminal vesicles are located near the urinary bladder not between the backbone and ribs. So the verse is clearly in error. There was a Greek Physicist called Galen. He lived in 100 A.D he believed in the idea that men is created from ejaculated liquid gushing from backbone and the sperm.
    If Mohammad is a true prophet, then so is Rashid Khalid and Baha'ullah.

    Now you say that there are scientific miracles in the quran, this very statement of yours shows that you are trying to put your book in good light think about it the clue is scientific miracle.People have asked you for proof so I wouldn't bother to mention that because the burden is already on you.
    Don't forget about these ';miracles';...

    The Quran claims that the night “covers” or “veils” the day. It must be true, it says this 4 times (7:54, 13:3, 91:4, 92:1). In reality, the “night” gets “covered” with a view-blocking “veil”, the blue sky.

    Stars are missiles used to shoot at devils (37:6-8, 67:5). Shooting stars are rocky meteors, not stars.

    Semen comes from between the backbone and the ribs (86:7). Muslims use long, drawn-out explanations to try and explain this verse. Are these “excuses” necessary for such a simple issue?

    The Sun rises and sets at two points on the Earth (18:85-90). This is NOT a metaphor. The Quran describes these places as real, physical locations. You get there by road and people live in these areas.

    Muslims believed in an Earth-centered universe for many hundreds of years. (13:2, 31:29, 36:38-9)

    The Quran says that nothing holds birds up in the sky except Allah (16:79, 67:19). Air is a physical substance. Flight is not magic, just ask the Wright brothers.

    The Quran claims that there are no flaws in Allah’s sky (literally, there are no gaps 50:6). What about the holes in the O-Zone that let in deadly radiation? Most of the holes are natural, not man-made.

    Allah created everything in pairs (13:3, 43:12, 51:49). Many species reproduce asexually.

    Allah tells the bees to eat fruit. 16:69

    The mountains are “set firm” (79:32) and they prevent the Earth from shifting (16:15, 21:31). In reality, mountains are one of some of the fastest moving geological events and the location of most earthquakes. So, Allah tried to fix His flawed creation by creating quake-prone mountains that became some of the world’s most hostile living environments. Good job!

    As far as the Moon goes:

    Thanks to Allah’s “perfectly calculated” (55:5) time-keeping device, the Moon (10:5) Muslims find themselves with a 30-year calender cycle that contains nineteen 354-day years mixed with eleven 355-day “leap” years. The Muslim calendar doesn’t correspond with the seasons because “Muslim days” come (more or less) 11 days earlier each solar-year. Thus, Ramadan, the “hot month”, can come in winter. Are the cycles of the Moon more important than the cycles of the seasons? Allah, in His wisdom, gave Muslims a calendar that is less practical, useful or accurate than a solar-calendar.
    Islam is false. Repent and receive Jesus as your Savior. Islam is a false religion.

    John 3:16

    For God so loved the world that he sent his only begotten Son, that whoever would believe in him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God sent his Son in the world to save it, not condemn it. Whoever so believes in the Son has eternal life. Whoever believes not is already condemned because he has not believed in the only Son of the True Living God.
    Because Mohammed knew that the bible is the word of God so he took it, went up the mountain and copied mostly everything from it!! Some stuff were made the oppostite (e.g. Do not kill(bible).......Kill (quran)

    you prophet mohammed wanted to copy Jesus!!!!

    Jesus is God

    Jesus is the son of God!!!
    Could you perhaps provide some examples to support your claim? Sorry, but I'm a little cynical about such claims, so I'll need to see proof to take them seriously.

    EDIT:

    Could you provide references for your claim? Where in the Bible and Quran are those statements contained?
    Keep telling yourself that happened.
    Cuss dey gots it Out ub de Bible...Fooo....

    De miricle is dat duh coran gots anything right..
    Please do name some of these facts...
    some guy got tired of being Jewish so he wrote a little book and invented Islam

    Does the bible ever cite an example of a true prophet relying upon Prov.4:18 to escape being a false prophet?

    No! and every Jehovah's Witness should ask themselves this question!

    ';But the path of the righteous ones is like the bright light that is getting lighter and lighter until the day is firmly established';

    Proverbs 4:18 NWT

    ';But the path of the Just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day';

    Proverbs 4:18 KJV

    there is no evidence that this verse can be used to explain Prophecy, false or otherwiseDoes the bible ever cite an example of a true prophet relying upon Prov.4:18 to escape being a false prophet?
    I am a Reverend, I follow God. My following is to Trust God, Believe in God, and have faith in God.

    Though the bible is a great teaching tool, the Bible was written by men many hundreds of years after Christ, it was written and translated by man, who was in his Greed of power.

    Yes, the bible may speak the truth as they know it, but to know what the true meaning of God wants is to look within your own heart.

    If it feels good and does no harm then it is what God wants. God is perfect, then so must we. He made us in his own image (The soul), not the human resemblance that we have grown to know. We created the human being to experience the wonderful things that God wants us to experience.

    Love, Peace %26amp; LightDoes the bible ever cite an example of a true prophet relying upon Prov.4:18 to escape being a false prophet?
    No, never! A true prophet is just that, true all the time!

    So how do we tell who is a false prophet?

    I know that the Old Testiment says that a false prophet was one that had a prophecy and it did not come true. But in these last times many false prophets are to arise and decieve many even the elect if possible. What are some signs of a false prophet that we could apply in an article that says ';ten things to look for/signs of a false prophet.';So how do we tell who is a false prophet?
    How do they talk? (in regular life?)

    How do they live?

    What are their Faith Statements?

    When they are ';On Line for GOD'; does what they Preach and Teach line-up with the Bible (Word of GOD)?

    Does what they Prophesy come true consistently? (Prophets of GOD can miss it at times)

    Does your Inward Witness (Holy Spirit livivng in your spirit) connect and agree with what they say and teach and preach and prophesy?

    GOD can Talk throught Anybody!

    That dosen't make Everybody HE does talk through a Prophet.

    When you call yourself a Prophet, you should know yourself that it is a life long ';calling'; on you ';befor'; you were even born.

    GOD makes People Prophets.

    Nobody Else.

    GOD confirms HIS WORD with TWO or MORE Witness's--even with what Prophets of GOD Prophesy.So how do we tell who is a false prophet?
    from there fruits you can know them,,,,
    all prophets are false because there is no god.
    As you said, if something they say does not come to pass.

    If you really think about it, you'll discover more, but I'll throw you one more.

    All prophecy is given by God, right? So, if the prophecy exalts man in any way, and does not give glory to God, then BINGO! False prophet.
    Retroactively you examine their prophecies and determine if they were right or wrong. To examine a prophecy in any other way is a form of prophesying in itself.

    Any article that starts with ';Ten things....'; is hardly likely to be considered factual itself, being a popular device in trashy magazines.
    Does the prophecy line up with current other words?

    Does it agree with Scripture?

    Does it agree with your inner witness?

    Does this person have a proven record of accuracy?

    Does this person have genuine character?

    Does the word point to G-d, or somewhere else?
    Most people have that definition in mind – it is found at Deuteronomy 18:20-22. A closer examination of this scripture, however, shows that even false prophets can give signs that actually come true.

    But there is another given by God found at Deuteronomy 13:1-5: “In case a prophet or a dreamer of a dream arises in your midst and does give you a sign or a portent, and the sign or the portent does come true of which he spoke to you, saying, ‘Let us walk after other gods, whom you have not known, and let us serve them,’ you must not listen to the words of that prophet or to the dreamer of that dream, because Jehovah your God is testing you to know whether you are loving Jehovah your God with all your heart and all your soul. After Jehovah . . . you should walk, and him you should fear . . . , and him you should serve . . . And that prophet or that dreamer of the dream should be put to death, because he has spoken of revolt against Jehovah your God . . . and you must clear out what is evil from your midst.”

    Clearly, then, a false prophet is one who is trying to turn us aside from worshiping the true God. If they are attempting to subvert our faith and cause us to stop serving the true God, of necessity they must be the false prophets!

    Even Jesus warned, at Matthew 7:22, that in the final days so-called disciples would be performing great signs. But he would call their works lawlessness.

    In the final analysis, a false prophet is one trying to subvert the true faith and turn worshipers away from the true God.

    The same standard applies today as then! Be careful however, to avoid ';generalized'; prophecy or things that can easily manipulated by man to come true.
    There is no more prophesy. We know that Jesus was a false prophet because none of his predictions happened. We will know the messiah because he will bring peace on earth for all mankind.

    ';...they shall beat their swords into plowshares,

    and their spears into pruning hooks;

    nation shall not lift up sword against nation,

    neither shall they learn war anymore.'; (Isaiah 2:4)

    .
    Do they follow the Bibles teachings? Its plain and simple, thats why we need to read the Bible and know whats right and wrong.

    God Bless
    If just one of their prophecies does not come true, then they are false prophets, and from such turn away.

    All old testament prophets prophecies came true. Not one was false.
    I can think of only five, right now. 1. If their predictions do not come true. 2. If they contradict the Bible. 3. If their predictions are so general that anyone could make them. 4. If their predictions do not in some way glorify God. 5. If they glorify themselves.
    one that doesn't exist is a good start.

    ones that do exist generally only have a handfull of followers, and are eventually written off as the loonies they are
    Any Prophet that comes after Muhammad is a false prophet!!!!

    In Matthew in the New Testament it says we should judge a prophet by the fruits of their prophecies (whether they come true). Muhammad's prophecies did come true!

    Most Christians will tell you that Prophecy ended with Jesus, don't listen to them as in the New Testament a prophet came after Jesus called Agabus...

    Most Christians don't know about their religion...
    Jesus said “a tree is known by his fruit” (Matthew 12:33). When looking for “fruit,” here are three specific tests to apply to any teacher to determine the accuracy of his or her teaching:

    1) What does this teacher say about Jesus? In Matthew 16:15, Jesus asks, “Whom say ye that I am?” Peter answers, “Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God,” and for this answer Peter is called “blessed.” In 2 John 9, we read, “Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son.” In other words, Jesus Christ and His work of redemption is of utmost importance; beware anyone who denies that Jesus is equal with God, who downplays Jesus’ substitutionary death, or who rejects Jesus’ humanity. First John 2:22 says, “Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son.”

    2) Does this teacher preach the gospel? The gospel is defined as the good news concerning Jesus’ death, burial, and resurrection, according to the scriptures (1 Corinthians 15:1-4). As nice as they sound, the statements “God loves you,” “God wants us to feed the hungry,” and “God wants you to be wealthy” are NOT the complete message of the gospel. As Paul warns in Galatians 1:7, “There be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.” No one, not even a great preacher, has the right to change the message that God gave us. “If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed” (Galatians 1:9).

    3) Does this teacher exhibit character qualities that glorify the Lord? Speaking of false teachers, Jude 11 says, “They have gone in the way of Cain, and ran greedily after the error of Balaam for reward, and perished in the gainsaying of Korah.” In other words, a false teacher can be known by his pride (Cain’s rejection of God’s plan), greed (Balaam’s prophesying for money), and rebellion (Korah’s promotion of himself over Moses).
    SAI - I agree with you

    All prophets after Muhammad (saw) are false prophets. There is no prophet after Muhammad (saw)

    All Muhammad (saw) prophecies came true ............ so how can christians say that he is not a prophet.

    The one false Prophet that Islam does identify is the Dijal

    http://www.islam.tc/prophecies/masdaj.ht…

    The above link describes him in detaIL
    I'd think a false prophet would want to prove to others that he is the real thing so they would do things in public to convince others. A true prophet wouldn't have to do this or care to..
    Anyone spouting stuff about religion is a false prophet, as there is no God! I respect their beliefs, but they don't need to go preaching them to people.

    Who is the condemned false prophet, the Watchtower Society or God?

    False Prophecies of the Jehovah's Witnesses

    The Witnesses make many claims in their attempt to convert you to their faith. They profess to have the only true Christian church, to be the only true representatives of God, to have the only correct biblical teaching, and to be the only true announcers of Jehovah's coming kingdom.

    If they are the only true church and are the only true voice of God's word, then what they say should prove to be true, especially in prophecy. When it comes to predicting the future, the Watchtower organization fails miserably. Following are some of the false predictions made over the years by the Watchtower organization. If you present these to a JW, he will probably say something like, ';Those are taken out of context,'; or ';They didn't claim to be the prophet of God,'; or ';The light is getting brighter and we are understanding Bible prophecy better now,'; etc. Make a copy of these false prophecies, found in the appendix, and give it to them to check. They are right out of the Witnesses' literature.

    Remember Deut. 18:22, ';If what a prophet proclaims in the name of the LORD does not take place or come true, that is a message the LORD has not spoken. That prophet has spoken presumptuously. Do not be afraid of him.'; If someone makes a false prophecy, and they have claimed to be a prophet of God, then they are false prophets and are not to be listened to.

    Do the Witnesses claim to be the prophet of God? Yes, they do.

    In 1972 the Jehovah's Witness Watchtower claimed to be the prophet of God.

    IDENTIFYING THE ';PROPHET'; -- ';So does Jehovah have a prophet to help them, to warn them of dangers and to declare things to come? These questions can be answered in the affirmative. Who is this prophet?...This ';prophet'; was not one man, but was a body of men and women. It was the small group of footstep followers of Jesus Christ, known at that time as International Bible Students. Today they are known as Jehovah's Christian Witnesses...Of course, it is easy to say that this group acts as a 鈥榩rophet' of God. It is another thing to prove it.'; The Watchtower, 4/1/72, p. 197. (See Deut. 18:21)

    1897 ';Our Lord, the appointed King, is now present, since October 1874,'; Studies in the Scriptures, Vol. 4, page 621.

    1899 ';...the 鈥榖attle of the great day of God Almighty' (Revelation 16:14), which will end in A.D. 1914 with the complete overthrow of earth's present rulership, is already commenced.'; The Time Is at Hand, page 101 (1908 edition).

    1916 ';The Bible chronology herein presented shows that the six great 1000 year days beginning with Adam are ended, and that the great 7th Day, the 1000 years of Christ's Reign, began in 1873.'; The Time Is at Hand, page ii, (forward).

    1918 ';Therefore we may confidently expect that 1925 will mark the return of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and the faithful prophets of old, particularly those named by the Apostle in Hebrews 11, to the condition of human perfection.'; Millions Now Living Will Never Die, page 89.

    1922 ';The date 1925 is even more distinctly indicated by the Scriptures than 1914.'; The Watchtower 9/1/22, page 262.

    1923 ';Our thought is, that 1925 is definitely settled by the Scriptures. As to Noah, the Christian now has much more upon which to base his faith than Noah had upon which to base his faith in a coming deluge.'; The Watchtower, page 106 4/1/23.

    1925 ';The year 1925 is here. With great expectation Christians have looked forward to this year. Many have confidently expected that all members of the body of Christ will be changed to heavenly glory during this year. This may be accomplished. It may not be. In his own due time God will accomplish his purposes concerning his people. Christians should not be so deeply concerned about what may transpire this year.'; The Watchtower, 1/1/25, page. 3.

    1925 ';It is to be expected that Satan will try to inject into the minds of the consecrated, the thought that 1925 should see an end to the work.'; The Watchtower, Sept, 1925 page 262.

    1926 ';Some anticipated that the work would end in 1925, but the Lord did not state so. The difficulty was that the friends inflated their imaginations beyond reason; and that when their imaginations burst asunder, they were inclined to throw away everything.'; The Watchtower, page 232.

    1931 ';There was a measure of disappointment on the part of Jehovah's faithful ones on earth concerning the years 1917, 1918, and 1925, which disappointment lasted for a time...and they also learned to quit fixing dates.'; Vindication, page 338.

    1941 ';Receiving the gift, the marching children clasped it to them, not a toy or plaything for idle pleasure, but the Lord's provided instrument for most effective work in the remaining months before Armageddon.'; The Watchtower, 9/15/41, page 288.

    1968 ';True, there have been those in times past who predicted an 鈥榚nd to the world', even announcing a specific date. Yet nothing happened. The 鈥榚nd' did not come. They were guilty of false prophesying. Why? What was missing?.. Missing from such people were God's truths and evidence that he was using and guiding them.'; Awake, 10/8/68.

    1968 ';Why are you looking forward to 1975?'; The Watchtower, 8/15/68, page 494.

    A JW might say that the organization is still learning. If that is so, then how can they trust what they are taught now by the Watchtower? Will what they are being taught now change also?

    A true prophet of God won't err in prophesying. Only a false prophet does. The Jehovah's Witness organization, that claims to be a prophet of God, is really a false prophet. Jesus warned us by saying, ';For false Christs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and miracles to deceive even the elect -- if that were possible'; (Matt. 24:24).Who is the condemned false prophet, the Watchtower Society or God?
    Dear Unsilenced Lamb,

    God is NOT the author of chaos or confusion! Period.

    He IS the awesome uncreated Creator of the universe, the Author of life.

    He IS worthy of ALL praise and thanksgiving.

    He knows ALL and He knows that we need His help to be able to discern who is speaking on His behalf and who is NOT.

    He provided the help we need for discerning who is prophesying the Truth and who is making FALSE statements in such verses as Deuteronomy 18:20-22.

    It does not take rocket science to figure out that since the Watchtower spoke of (prophesied) events that did NOT happen on more than one occasion they match the criteria for labeling the organization as a FALSE prophet.

    This topic always reminds me of a mystery I saw in the Sixties or early Seventies. I don't remember the name or the stars - it may have been Ray Milland and either Grace Kelly or Doris Day. Maybe it was Tippy Heddron. The woman's car broke down on a rainy night in a lonely isolated area. Not having a cell phone she knocked on a door to ask the man to call for help. It looked TO HER like he dialed the number and spoke all of the right words. However the audience was able to see that his finger was on the button so of course the call did not go through.

    The Watchtower is a false prophet.

    One of many.

    ALL FALSE prophets are condemned.

    But the Good News is that there is still time to

    REPENT saith the LORD.

    For His glory,

    JOYfilledWho is the condemned false prophet, the Watchtower Society or God?
    The Anti Christ
    the JWs have made some bold predictions in recent times that didn't really pan out spectacularly well, but their interpretation is that their prophecies were fulfilled. it is the same with all prophets, as near as i can tell: they are all false. to be sure the biblical prophets are held to be true in some traditions, but why are we to believe that this is any more due to accurate prophecy than the JWs beliefs are?
    WOW..I already knew all of this..because I am a former JW's..But, you really did your homework..There is no dening what they have claimed to be..and what the scriptures say about this.

    I hope they listen.
    beautiful.

    to answer your question: the Watchtower Society is the false prophet.
    A track record of false prophecy.

    A claim to be ';the Anointed';!

    What/who is the anti Christ?

    This is a person or a group of people coming forth and saying they are the ';Anointed'; and to follow them.

    ';anti'; is ';instead of'; or ';to replace or pretend'; in the Greek.

    Christ means ';anointed';.

    The Governing Body (GB) of the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society (WTB%26amp;TS) say they are the Anointed and the spokesman for Jehovah God.

    _______

    Matthew 24:4

    Watch out that no one deceives you. For many will come in my name, claiming, 'I am the Christ,' and will deceive many.

    Matthew 24: 10-11

    At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other, and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people.

    _________

    Yes, these publishers claim to be '; the anointed';.

    That would be saying; ';I am Christ, follow me'; would it not?

    Christ means anointed! Matthew 24:4 Watch out that no one deceives you. For many will come in my name, claiming, 'I am the Christ, '
    Well said and well researched. Not that any of them will read this. But at least you might make someone who is interested in them think twice before they become slaves to this false prophet.
    Clearly this evidence shows that the WT%26amp;TS are (is ) a false prophet..

    What is more interesting is that the normal cadre of WT%26amp;TS minions are not responding to this. hmmm I wonder why

    They hate it when the issue gets all confused with Facts
    Not to mention the fact that they deny the deity of Jesus Christ. In doing so, they have the wrong Jesus, thus the wrong God. Stephen while full of the Holy Spirit, prayed AND committed his spirit to Jesus. (All prayer is to go to God). Thomas, a devout Jew claimed after placing his hands in Jesus' wounds, ';My Lord and My God.'; to Jesus. He would never blaspheme in such a way he truly believed.

    The JW's NWT translation is false too. none of the committee had any credentials to translate, and the word for worship is changed to obeseience EVERYWHERE it refers to Jesus. references to God, Satan, and flase gods are rendered as ';worship'; though. Isn't THAT biased; however, it was not always so...

    I have on my shelf, a 1950 edition and 1960 edition of the NWT, and it reads ';worship'; in Hebrews 1:6 where God the Father says for the angels to worship Jesus. Something God does not allow except to, of course, God!
    Finally a question they won't answer!
    too long to read. but I must say that I don't think JWs belong to Christianity due to the fact that it doesn't consider Jesus as God.
    God is always right. He warns us in His word that there are going to be false prophets. He asks us not to guess the time of Jesus' coming. He asks us to be ready.
    News flash! All prophecy is false!!! Their prophets are false and so are yours. It's all make believe. The difference is that you notice when the JWs get it wrong. Go here for some enlightenment about the accuracy of so-called prophecies about the end times, where JWs are the worst, just for starters, but Jesus has some failed prophecy of his own if you look at it without straining at gnats and swallowing camels. (i.e. engage in special pleading).
    Of course the term ';prophet has more than one meaning.

    The following, from the Merriam Webster Dictionary is the way Jehovah's Witnesses use ';prophet';

    ';an effective or leading spokesman for a cause, doctrine, or group';

  • Can you prove that prophet Muhammad (pbuh) was a false prophet?

    He did quite well proving that himself.Can you prove that prophet Muhammad (pbuh) was a false prophet?
    The only way you can PROVE that anyone was a true or false prophet is to have god determine who is right. And since he has chosen not to say anything on the matter, it is up to who shouts the loudest.Can you prove that prophet Muhammad (pbuh) was a false prophet?
    I don't have to prove anyone was/is a false prophet until they first prove to me that they are a prophet.
    What did Muhammed promise? And what does he say about salvation and the second coming of Christ?
    Why do you say pbuh?Peace be upon him?

    Why jews believe that Jesus was a false prophet?

    jesus was someone who went against all the beliefs that the jewish people have. the jewish people do not recognize him as a proohet, g-d, great teacher, or any other worthy title anyone might come up with for him, and on the contrary in his name the ';holy church'; burned thousands of jews on the stake in spain in the time of the inquisition, hundreds of thousands of jews were murdered all over europe in the time of the crusades, and in modern day history six million jews were killed in the holocaust while the pope didn't utter one protest. and this is all in the name of a ';loving prophet-g-d-teacher'; etc. for more details and for information on what the the jews do believe as messiah see the links below.Why jews believe that Jesus was a false prophet?
    There were to be two comings of Messiah based on the type in Joseph and Moses. The first was for Him to come as the suffering servant, the second was He was to come in glory and redeam Isreal. Unfortunatley, they focused to much on the latter and not the former. They were looking for Jesus to overthrow Rome. When Jesus claimed to be God, that was too much for them, so they rejected His claim, even though He was prophesied to BE God incarnate.

    I took a year and tallied as many as I could below.Why jews believe that Jesus was a false prophet?
    they don't think jesus was the son of god. but don't get them wrong, they think he was a great teacher.
    Jews think that Jesus was just a prphet but not the Son of God
    Messyiha, means salviour of the souls. The Jewish people is not stupid, in fact they have more informations in the holy Bible, written by Moses himself, than every Christian will ever accept to believe. Every 1700 - 2000 years change the Star-Sign of an Age. And every 2000 years come another Spiritual Master who is writing and teaching the law's of it's age.The jewish people knows that Jesus is the Master of the Age of Pisces, as Moses before, was the Master of the Age of Aries.In between came already the Master of the Age of Aquarius, but that is not the Question here, You had. The Messyiah is a Prophecy written in the Bible as a symbol for all mankind with any relation to a time- schedule. The Jew's knew exactly who Jesus was, but they denied to accept, that he is the Messyia, to save the world. They did'nt deny that he was the Master of the Age of pisces, they just did'nt accept his Mission as Messyiah.
    Not everyone that sprouts up saying they're God gets accepted. Obviously they thought he was a crazy guy using his name in blasphemy like any other historical radical cultist offering the best rewards for following.
    The Jews Messiah was to deliver them from Roman oppression.
    The Jews believe we are ALL the son of god and Jesus and Mohammed were no different.
    becasue of his power, plus all are deceived whom donot believe
    From what my Jewish friends have told me, thier religion as a whole has no stance on Jesus. It's not like they go to temple and listen to the rabbi talk about how Jesus was a false prophet. He is not mentioned in thier religious texts. So any belife that any Jew has about this would be thier personal opinion. not what all ';Jews'; think.
    The Jewish people believe that the mesiah was to come directly from the line of David. Mary was from the line of David, but back then, lineage was traced through the father. Since Joseph was not Jesus's biological father, the Jewish people believe that he was not the mesiah because they don't consider him to be directly from the line of David. Thy believe that he was a great teacher and a healer, however not their savior. Some Jewish people have converted however, and have accepted Jesus as their mesiah.
    According to Jewish teaching: Tradition teaches that the Messiah will lead the Jewish people to full Torah observance. Deut. 13:1-4 states that all mitzvahs remain binding forever, and anyone coming to change the Torah is immediately identified as a false prophet. Throughout the New Testament, Jesus contradicts the Torah and states its commandments are no longer applicable. (John 1:45 and 9:16, Acts 3:22 and 7:37)

    Oh, you want specifics? According to Torah, the Messiah will:

    Ezekiel 37:26-28: Build the Third Temple

    Isaiah 43:5-6: Gather all Jews back to the Land of Israel

    Isaiah 2:4: Usher in an era of world peace, and end all hatred, oppression, suffering and disease. ';Nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall man learn war anymore.';

    Zechariah 14:9: Spread universal knowledge of the G-d of Israel - uniting the entire human race as one: ';G-d will be King over all the world鈥攐n that day, G-d will be One and His Name will be One.

    I, as a Christian, believe that Christ didn't contradict but fulfilled the Old Test. promises.

    Who thinks apostle Paul is a false prophet and not an apostle?

    I don't necessarily describe Paul as a ';false prophet';, but I do believe he got some stuff very wrong. Being a Pharisee, he was expecting the coming of the Messiah to instill the end of days. This explains why he ran from place to place preaching his, ';the sky is falling'; message. This also explains why he was so openly opposed to Peter, James, and John. Though Paul was definitely off with his end of the world theories as well as most of his doctrinal beliefs about Jesus, since he had never actually met him, I do give Paul one thing. Without his ';chicken little'; routine and his multitude of letters, Christianity would be nothing more than a blurp in a history book and most Americans would have ';Mithras saves'; bumper stickers on their cars instead.Who thinks apostle Paul is a false prophet and not an apostle?

    Is it fair to say that the Bible teaches there are inspired true prophets and uninspired false prophets?

    True prophets are inspired by God. False prophets are not.Is it fair to say that the Bible teaches there are inspired true prophets and uninspired false prophets?
    Here is another example of how faulty reasoning eventually catches up with those who try to force the Bible to uphold their illusion… The Governing Body does not deny that the organization claims to be, or acts as God’s prophet. What they do deny is that they are inspired. Somewhere along the way someone came up with the idea that it’s all right to put God’s name on their teachings and prophecies as long as

    they don’t claim to be inspired. But this causes a problem that they apparently haven’t noticed yet. According to the Bible there are only two kinds of prophets:

    • True Prophets

    • False Prophets

    True prophets are inspired by God. False prophets are not…

    • Inspired true prophets

    • Uninspired false prophets

    But the Watchtower’s religious leaders have created a third kind of prophet that is a mixture or combination of both a true prophet and a false prophet… Added to this is the fact they also claim to be “God’s

    spirit-directed organization.” Therefore, when you add up all the things they do and don’t claim to be, they end up a kind prophet that has never before existed. They now have an illusionary Spirit-directed, uninspired true prophet to go along with their illusionary God’s organization.Is it fair to say that the Bible teaches there are inspired true prophets and uninspired false prophets?
    Prove the prophets you claim arent inspired by God arent

    Are you just asking all these questions to try to make yourself feel better about putting down mormons all the time?

    You cant prove the validity of any your beliefs any more than mormons can prove it to you.

    Saying that your interpretations prove your beliefs is illogical unless you are willing to accept that mormon interpretations prove their beliefs, too.
    Yes. The Bible teaches that His prophets only speak His words, and everything that they say will happen. God told the Israelites that they would know if a prophet was false if even one thing he predicted did not happen. For a comparison, the famous Nostrodomus made hundreds of predictions about the future, centuries ago. He is world famous now and many people swear by him as a great ';seer'; of the future. But his accuracy is only 11%. However, there is not even one prediction (prophecy) in the Bible that has not come true. A 100% accuracy rating. That's hard evidence of something supernatural about the Bible.
    1) Is it fair to say that the Bible teaches there are inspired true prophets and uninspired false prophets?

    Yes.

    2) True prophets are inspired by God. False prophets are not.

    Well...basically. But it's a little bit trickier than that. The bible tells us that God will (at times) actually inspire false prophets to provide true prophecy in order to test his followers. The test is this: if the prophet gives credit for the prophecy to anyone/anything other than God, or if the prophet attempts to persuade people to worship any other god, then God is using that prophet to test his people.

    There is also a single case in which God intentionally causes a prophet to prophesy falsely. That was done to lead a wicked king to his downfall. The prophet was not a ';true'; prophet, however - that is, he was not a prophet of God.

    There is a final case: that of Jonah, who prophesied that Nineveh would be destroyed on a certain day. It was not: the people of Ninevah repented, and God did not fulfill that prophecy. This is the only case I know in which a true prophet prophesied something that did not come true.

    Jim, http://www.bible-reviews.com
    Yes.

    Biblical instructions regarding prophets are in Deuteronomy 18:

    Deu 18:18 I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee, and will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him.

    Deu 18:19 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever will not hearken unto my words which he shall speak in my name, I will require it of him.

    Deu 18:20 But the prophet, which shall presume to speak a word in my name, which I have not commanded him to speak, or that shall speak in the name of other gods, even that prophet shall die.

    Deu 18:21 And if thou say in thine heart, How shall we know the word which the LORD hath not spoken?

    Deu 18:22 When a prophet speaketh in the name of the LORD, if the thing follow not, nor come to pass, that is the thing which the LORD hath not spoken, but the prophet hath spoken it presumptuously: thou shalt not be afraid of him.

    Therefore, according to scripture, a true prophet is like unto God, because he will NEVER be wrong with what he says will come to pass.

    I know of far too many false prophets to expound upon it here. People could save themselves a lot of grief by listening FIRST to the instructions of THE God who loves them.

    Yours in Christ,

    John the Baptist
    true prophets are not mentally ill lol. God does speak through living prophets on the earth to day. learn more about how god has restored his church through a living prophet at www.mormon.org
    NO! bible teaches is not inspired by prophet this teaching are translated by a human person who has the communication power to translate it brainwashing and eventually becomes an organization that involves money without helping or making a change in this world.
    There are two kinds of prophets. True ones and false ones. An uninspired prophet is by definition false.
    True prophets are mentally ill. False prophets are in it for the money.
    Prophets should find better things to do with their time. Like, you know, contribute to society?
    Of course

    the old testament gives criteria of truthfulness

    and Jesus said you will know them from their fruits
    Of course.
    yes and its very solid on listing how to point one out.
    I would guess, I don't really know!

    Who is The false prophet in (Revelation 19 (20))?

    Revelation 19 (20) And the beast was seized and overpowered, and with him the FALSE PROPHET who in his presence had worked wonders and performed miracles by which he led astray those who had accepted or permitted to be placed upon them the stamp (mark) of the beast and those who paid homage and gave divine honors to his statue. Both of them were hurled alive into the fiery lake that burns and blazes with brimstone.

    i think he is Muhammad . do u agree?Who is The false prophet in (Revelation 19 (20))?
    Clearly John cannot be speaking of Muhammad. There is one FACT that is being ignored. The dreams rather prophecies are speaking of the future. What will be. Muhammad died. He is not going to be part of the future.

    No one knows who the false prophet will be. He won't show up for a while. Not until after the rapture.Who is The false prophet in (Revelation 19 (20))?
    No. Muhammad as a follower of Allah clearly stood against the worship of image, statue, or idols of any kind. One of the reason why Islam exist today is also because of the worship of saints and statues in some of the Christians churches--contradicting the first, second, and third commandments of the ten commandments.

    As such, the false prophet has to be someone that profess to follow Christ but yet broke the commandments of God.
    The false prophet in Isaiah has yet to be revealed. He is in the future. Those who have studied will most likely recognize him when he begins his so called 'wonders and miracles'.

    So Muhammad is not the 'false prophet' proclaimed in Isaiah. And what Muslim Egypt is referring to is the word Kedar which appears in Isaiah 42. Kedar is the son of Muhammad, but the term in Isaiah isn't Muhammad's son, but rather a term which refers to the nomadic tribes of Arabs, the Bedouins generally, who dwelt in the north-west of Arabia.
    Ok so the beast was around in Muhammad's time, so we no longer have to worry about it, is that what you are saying?

    Muslims had or have the mark of the beast on them? Hmm, haven't seen that yet, and I live in a Muslim country.

    Whose statue are you talking about, the beast? (what did it look like); Muhammad? Muslims aren't allowed to construct any likeness of him.

    I think that really, you don't know what you are talking about and are really just another fundie Muslim hater
    Practically this false prophet is ';Apostle PAUL'; whose real name is ';SAUL';.

    He changed his name, but Muhammad did not.

    PAUL first job was to deny Christianity and message of Jesus and even kill Jesus' followers before he gets this terrific idea to become a prophet and then change Christianity as he likes. While Muhammad never changed his position as he confirmed the truth of Moses %26amp; Jesus messages from the beginning and stayed on that.

    Paul鈥檚 followers give divine honor to the statue (';his statue'; can be referred back to Jesus statue or to the cross statue), while Muhammad informed not to give divine honor to any statue or any picture; it is clear today Muslims have no statue, but Christians have Jesus, marry and cross statues (with divine honors).
    The Prophet Muhammad had been dead already. He could not be the false prophet of Revelation 19:20. He was a descendant of Ishmael, the blessed of God. Genesis 17: 20 And as for Ishmael, I have heard you; I will surely bless him; I will make him fruitful and will greatly increase his numbers. He will be the father of twelve rulers, and I will make him into a great nation. They are the Arabs. And God fulfilled His promise to them. God had called a prophet to them in order to gather them in preparation for a special task they have to fulfill before the Rapture. So Prophet Muhammad was for the Arabs and not for the Jews. Jesus Christ was a Prophet for the Jews but He will come back as the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. And the false prophet is yet to come. For Christ will be the one to destroy him.
    The ';beast';,...the first beast is a one world political system and the false prophet, there are many false prophets, meaning false teachers are those that teach anything other than Gods Word. (satan himself is the second beast; the anti-Christ,...aka the dragon.)
    nobody knows

    one must have a strong background in biblical imagery to even begin to have a basic understanding of revelations

    the anti-christ will arise from the eternal sea which means politics to me and many others

    so to answer you the president of some nation
    Watch preachers like Creflo Dollar, Jerry Falwell, Fred Phelps, Osama Bin-laden, Rabbi Menachim Schneerson, etc. They are your false prophets.
    Prophet Muhammad(pbuh) died long ago and there wasn't any ';beast'; with him.

    Also, the Prophet Muhammad(pbuh) did not claim divinity. He was only a prophet, the last one.
    LOL ,read Isaiah 42 which say that prophet Muhammad is the coming prophet and describe Hajj

    Now let me Refute you

    Prophet Muhammad didn't come with the beast

    Second Islam says Stuatues are forbidden meven we don't have pictures

    lolz
    I would say its some one yet to come but other wise I would agree Mohamed was anti christ and a false prophet.
    Could be.
    No, I think it's Rush Limbaugh.
    Might be Sean Hannity..
    Yeah. It is all the people who prophesied against the Bible
    The false prophet will be the leader of the world religion who will be giving his support and working hand in hand with the world system of the last days.

    There will be a global governing body with a global leader, and global religion. That false religion will not be Christianity, Islam or Judaism, but will be the one allowed religion of the world system. It will be more political than spiritual. By this time it will be deemed that all religions are dangerous, so there will be one state allowed religion and will resemble new age in the sense that it will declare that my Jesus is just your Mohammad, who is just your Buddha, Who is just your Harry Krishna,...the same person, just another name.

    It will be a false attempt to bring unity and peace with and through all religions, and no others will be allowed.

    A number will be issued to each living person to replace money and all other forms of ID. It will be centered around the bar code system which presently functions on an information pallet that works around the use of the number 6 as a control key in the pallet. The number 6 control function key is used three times in the bar code information pallet, and the personal number will be needed to buy or sell anything. It will complete the bank account loop so that any purchase will be totally automated. Here by the mark or the number of the Beast, being 666.

    You will find that the number 6 is never used as part of the price on bar code inventory store shelf item, because 6 is reserved in the system for the control key functions. The individual persons bar code, will eventually become a micro implant in the hand or forehead and the iris of the eye or hand print will be like the security key code instead of a PIN number that we now use for our bank accounts.

    Much said, but much more to be said,... but it is not Muhammad, and the Muslims will have huge problems with this global system as will Christians, Jews, and all religions outside of the global or World religion. All religions outside of the World religion will be considered as the source of all of the worlds problems, and will be banned and outlawed by the World system through the false prophet, hand in hand with the global Leader who extends the mark of the system..';the mark of the the Beast';!

    It will reach a point where people of other religions will need to give up their religion and join the World religion, in order to get their number for buying and selling.

    Notice that if the power is off and the system down, there is no way to buy or sell anything, because it's all becoming hooked into the bar code system which uses the set of three control key sixes to run the scan info pallet.

    Hope that brings more clarity, rhyme, and reason?

    Me! :- )

    Jehovahs witnesses do you view the false prophet as the antichrist?

    The apostle John wrote that the antichrist was already existing in his day, and would be active right until Armageddon. Also, John used the term ';antichrists'; in plural, implying that several individuals would comprise an 'antichrist class'.

    .. ..(1 John 2:18) Just as you have heard that antichrist is coming, even now there have come to be many antichrists

    In the very next verse, John continues that comment by remarking that these antichrists were formerly true Christians who had strayed from the Truth.

    .. ..(1 John 2:19) They went out from us, but they were not of our sort; for if they had been of our sort, they would have remained with us. But they went out that it might be shown up that not all are of our sort.

    Thus, the antichrist is the body of apostate Christian deceivers. Members of ostensibly Christian churches are largely deceived themselves, but who among Christendom persist in teaching that which they know to be untrue? While not every clergyman of Christendom knowingly deceives his flock, those who do quite plainly identify themselves with this antichrist class of apostate Christian deceivers.

    The matter is explained well in the articles here:

    http://google.com/search?q=antichrist+si…Jehovahs witnesses do you view the false prophet as the antichrist?
    ======================================

    (NO); Jehovah Witnesses Do (NOT) view the ';false prophet'; as the ';Antichrist'; !

    ======================================…

    . . 1. The ';false prophet';; that the Bible Book of Revelation Speaks About in Chapter 13; is the (DUAL) WORLD POWER of ';Both'; the United States %26amp; Great Britian !

    . . 2. On the Other Hand; The ';Anti-Christ'; is Made Up of a (COLLECTION) of ';Many'; INDIVIDUALS that Oppose Christ !

    . . 3. The Easiest Way to Separate the Two; Is to Remember that the ';false prophet'; is (PURELY) POLITICAL in Nature; Whearas the ';false prophet'; (MOSTLY) Consists of RELIGIOUS ELEMENTS !

    p.s. Also; the ';Anti-Christ'; is (ONLY MENTIONED) in the Bible Books of 1st %26amp; 2nd JohnJehovahs witnesses do you view the false prophet as the antichrist?
    For a fact, Jesus emphasized that feature of his presence more than anything else. For example, in response to his disciples question regarding his presence, the very first thing Jesus said was: “Look out that nobody misleads you; for many will come on the basis of my name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will mislead many.”

    Further on in Matthew’s account Jesus said: “And many false prophets will arise and mislead many…”

    And again in the 23rd verse Jesus warned his disciples, saying: “Then if anyone says to you, ‘Look! Here is the Christ,’ or, ‘There!’ do not believe it. For false Christs and false prophets will arise and will give great signs and wonders so as to mislead, if possible, even the chosen ones. Look! I have forewarned you.”

    Clearly, if even the chosen ones run the risk of being misled by imposters and false prophets, so that Jesus was obligated to issue such an emphatic warning directed specifically to his disciples living during that time, it should be evident that the deception will come from a source the chosen ones do not expect. In order for the chosen ones to possibly be misled the deceivers would have to come from within the organization itself.

    Elsewhere in scripture, namely II Peter, Jude, and Revelation, false prophets are described as certain men who operate quietly from within the congregations.

    Indeed, Jesus went on to specifically forewarn his disciples that during the tribulation, false prophets and false christs could present a very real spiritual danger to even the chosen ones. But, in order for such deceitful workers to have any influence over Jehovah's chosen ones, it would be necessary for them to be inside the organization; posing as teachers and guides.

    Indeed, how likely is it that any of Jehovah’s Witnesses could be misled by false prophets that may arise in Christendom?
    The Antichrist has many faces.

    The word “antichrist” applies to all who deny what the Bible says about Jesus Christ, all who oppose his Kingdom, and all who mistreat his followers. It also includes individuals, organizations, and nations that falsely claim to represent Christ or that improperly ascribe to themselves the role of Messiah by presumptuously promising to achieve that which only Christ can do—bring about true peace and security.

    Any who fit into this category say ';aye';.
    Antichrist means against or instead of Christ.

    The term applies to all who deny what the Bible says

    about Jesus Christ, all who oppose his Kingdom,

    and all who mistreat his followers.

    It also includes individuals, organizations,

    and nations that falsely claim to represent Christ

    or that improperly ascribe to themselves the role of Messiah.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~…
    Some of those identified as antichrist---
    All who deny that Jesus is the unique Son of God~~
    1 John 2:22; ';This is the antichrist,
    the one that denies the Father and the Son.';
    compare John10:36; Luke 9:35.
    Apostates~~
    1 John 2:18,19; ';There have come to be many antichrists...
    They went out from us, but they were not of our sort.';
    Those who oppose Christ's true followers~~
    John15:20,21; ';If they have persecuted me,
    they will persecute you also...
    But they will do these things against you
    on account of my name.';
    Individuals and nations that oppose Christ as King
    or that themselves falsely claim the Messianic role~~
    Ps 2:2; ';The kings of the earth take their stand
    and high officials themselves have massed together
    as one against Jehovah and against His Anointed one
    {Christ or Messiah}.';
    Witness stick pretty much to the Bible. It says there are many antichrists. So that is likely what they believe.
    Details on eht antichrist:
    The word appears five times, not in Revelation, but only in the books of 1st John and 2nd John. Here is a list of all occurrences of the word Antichrist in the Bible: 1 John 2:18-22. 1 John 4:1-3. 2 John 7.
    If you read those texts you will see for yourself that the Bible says the following:
    1. There are MANY antichrists.
    2. Antichrists had already started appearing when the writer was writing the books.
    1John.2:18
    ';Little children, it is the last hour: and as ye heard that antichrist cometh, even now have there arisen many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last hour.'; [ASV]
    3. Antichrists are defined at those who left the original Christian congregation.
    1John.2:19
    ';They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would have continued with us: but [they went out], that they might be made manifest that they all are not of us.';
    4. Antichrists contradict what the Bible actually says, which is what makes them Antichrists. However, although contradicting scripture, still profess belief in Christ.
    1John.2:22
    ';Who is the liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? This is the antichrist, [even] he that denieth the Father and the Son.';
    1John.4:1
    ';Beloved, believe not every spirit, but prove the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets are gone out into the world. 2. Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: 3. and every spirit that confesseth not Jesus is not of God: and this is the [spirit] of the antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it cometh; and now it is in the world already.';
    2John 1:07
    ';For many deceivers are gone forth into the world, [even] they that confess not that Jesus Christ cometh in the flesh. This is the deceiver and the antichrist.';
    there are many false prophets, so which one do u mean? Or do u mean all of them? anyways, Answer: as part of the composite, antichrist.
    I think the false prophet is part of the unholy trinity so the antiChrist can't be the same people and individual members of the nholy trinity at the same time.
    Is there a possibility that Jesus is a false prophet?
    Please read through this webpage before responding.
    http://www.aish.com/jw/s/48892792.htmlIs there a possibility that Jesus is a false prophet?
    To these answers...*facepalm*
    There is a possibility that he was a prophet, but not the son of God.
    There is also a possibility that he WASNT a prophet, and just some rabbi trying to teach others to be moral.
    His image has been twisted by Christians so we aren't really sure if he was a prophet or not. Some Jews believe he was, and some of us don't. That is still being debated.Is there a possibility that Jesus is a false prophet?
    There is no doubt Jesus was the Messiah. Yes I did look at your web page. First yes Isaiah was talking about the Jewish nation as well as about the Christ in his dualistic manner of writing. Wasn't he great? As far as the prophecies that Jesus didn't fulfill, the only ones are the ones he has yet to fulfill upon his second coming. Then those to will also be fulfilled. As for the whole Jewish nation knowing their Prophets, I ask when did that come about? They jailed, stoned and tried to kill most of them when they walked the earth. It was only many many years later after their words came true they were considered prophets by the Jews themselves. If they would have been considered prophets when they walked the earth most of the Jews problems would not have happened, if I read the bible correctly. However the Good news is the Jews are still Gods chosen people and Jesus will return to them and they will except him when by his hand he saves them once again just like the prophecy says.
    From the islamic position, he is a Prophet of Allah.
    I did look through the web page, but why go through the bible references when we know that the bible has major problems with it...
    Biblical problems start on page 1 in the book of Genesis.
    God created the day and the night. And then a few days later he made the Sun...It goes on and on.
    Well yeah if you are Jewish he is not your Messiah and may think he is/was a false prophet. It's up to each person to find their beliefs and be comfortable with them, and no one can tell another what to believe or why. It really cheeses me off when others do this. What's good for you may not be good for me to believe. So be it. Live and let live.
    Astagfirullah! Jesus(pbuh) is a true prophet who invited the Jews to worship none but Allah(swt). As Muslims we believe he healed the blind, healed lepers, made birds with clay, rose the dead, etc but with Allah(swt)'s permission.
    Jesus(pbuh) was also a Muslim.
    in logic anything is possible
    but this is not logic
    it is a matter of belief a matter of faith that Jesus is the only begotten SON OF GOD
    Is there a possibility he actually existed?
    he is a false everything
    Yes, from the Christian bible itself, Deuteronomy 13
    From an orthodox Jewish website.... that's real balanced.
    Why false prophet ussually desribe God as a tyrant that wants you to submit to him againts your free will?
    and not as a loving Father, who wants us to come to Him via free will.';merciful and gracious, long suffering, and abundant in goodness and truth. He insists ';Thou shall not kill the innocent and just';. not the other way around for example ';Kill the Mushrikun (unbelievers) wherever you find them, and capture them and besiege them, and lie in wait for them in each and every ambushWhy false prophet ussually desribe God as a tyrant that wants you to submit to him againts your free will?
    You're mixing them up big time
    Firstly Christianity and Islam
    And then the prophets and their message
    Don't try to Christianize the Islamic faith and bring into the Islamic belief things that have never attained to it. Their belief has never viewed their god as a father figure, that is exclusive to Christianity.
    What Humble said is even more inconsistant with the Bible.
    Matthew 28:19
    Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the NAME (singular) of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
    Then it says
    John 10:30
    I and the Father are one
    John 17:11
    I am no longer in the world; and yet they themselves are in the world, and I come to You Holy Father, keep them in Your name, the name which You have given Me, that they may be ONE EVEN AS WE ARE.
    John 17:21
    that they may all be one; even as You, Father, are in Me and I in You, that they also may be in Us, so that the world may believe that You sent Me
    That's why Christianity and Islam has no connection. Christ is Lord, He is God, He is Savior, He is more than just a prophet, He is THE PROPHET of prophets, He is God Almighty. Stop trying to make sense of something that only God can reveal to you, its pointless and you will only be wrong as you have just proven yourself to be.
    When it says the Father is greater than I, it illustrates not the order but the submission and harmony within God.Why false prophet ussually desribe God as a tyrant that wants you to submit to him againts your free will?
    Universal message of God Almighty is ONE. All the propehts came with ONE message. To worship ONE God with no any partners. The only way acceptable before GOD is submitting to HIS will, which is Islam.
    'God loves only those who obey HIM and are righteous. Trinity, Jesus dying for sins, were not true teachings of Christ. The terms are very sweet to hear but have no basis in the religion of God. Muhammad (PBUH) was the final messenger of God and THE NATURAL SUCCESSOR TO Christ.
    Because: Jesus (pbuh) said
    (i) ';My Father is greater than I.';
    [The Bible, John 14:28]
    (ii) ';My Father is greater than all.';
    [The Bible, John 10:29]
    One may ask, if both Muslims and Christians love and respect Jesus (pbuh), where exactly is the parting of ways? The major difference between Islam and Christianity is the Christians鈥?insistence on the supposed divinity of Christ (pbuh). A study of the Christian scriptures reveals that Jesus (pbuh) never claimed divinity. In fact there is not a single unequivocal statement in the entire Bible where Jesus (pbuh) himself says, ';I am God'; or where he says, ';worship me';. In fact the Bible contains statements attributed to Jesus (pbuh) in which he preached quite the contrary. The following statements in the Bible are attributed to Jesus Christ (pbuh):
    (i) ';My Father is greater than I.';
    [The Bible, John 14:28]
    (ii) ';My Father is greater than all.';
    [The Bible, John 10:29]
    (iii) ';鈥 cast out devils by the Spirit of God鈥?';
    [The Bible, Mathew 12:28]
    (iv) ';鈥 with the finger of God cast out devils鈥?';
    [The Bible, Luke 11:20]
    (v) ';I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgement is just; because I seek not my own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me.';
    [The Bible, John 5:30]
    God Sent Jesus' (pbuh)
    The Bible mentions the prophetic nature of Jesus (pbuh) mission in the following verses:
    (i)
    ';鈥?and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father鈥檚 which sent me.';
    [The Bible, John 14:24]
    (ii)
    ';And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou has sent.';
    [The Bible, John 17:3]
    The First Commandment is that God is One:
    The Bible does not support the Christian belief in trinity at all. One of the scribes once asked Jesus (pbuh) as to which was the first commandment of all, to which Jesus (pbuh) merely repeated what Moses (pbuh) had said earlier:
    ';Shama Israelu Adonai Ila Hayno Adonai Ikhad.';
    This is a Hebrew quotation, which means:
    ';Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord.';
    [The Bible, Mark 12:29]
    Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) in the New Testament:
    John chapter 14 verse 16:
    ';And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you forever.';
    Gospel of John chapter 15 verse 26:
    ';But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which
    proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me.';
    I request again, Please.
