Is Bush, so-called God-lover, the false prophet spoken of in Revelations?

George Bush has said many a time that God, the creator of all, has spoken to him. And God, the creator of all, had told him to start war with the Middle East. Is he lying? Is he telling the truth? Bush praises God so openly yet has total disregard for the death of countless thousands. The false phophet is supposedly setting the stage for the rise of the antichrist and new president to be: ArnoldIs Bush, so-called God-lover, the false prophet spoken of in Revelations?
re: BUSH: GOD TOLD ME TO INVADE

This is a bogus story. I think Snopes covered it and said that it was based on a translation of a translation of President Bush's words.

And remember, Clinton openly praised God, too, though his faith was only for show (e.g. the cross he made out of a conveniently placed pile of stones on Omaha Beach). Is Bush, so-called God-lover, the false prophet spoken of in Revelations?
No. By all accounts such an anti-Christ figure is going to come in the name of peace and be just that, an ANTI-Christ. how can Bush be anti-Christ if he is not a world uniter and a Christian at the same time?

God speaks to us everytime we open the Bible and answers prayer. It is not an audible voice that you are trying to make it out to be. Most Christians I know of base many of our decisions like who to marry, when to move, even which car we should buy on the answers we recieve from prayer and Scripture. That doesnt mean that God tells us in a voice what to do all the time, it just shows our willingness to submit our lives to him in the various areas of our lives. How much moreso when deciding whether you should take America to war or not? To not do so would be irresponsible and evil at best!

You also seem to have your facts wrong, we are not at war with the middle east. We arent at war with anybody but Al Queda and they are a global terrorist organization.

What makes you think Bush has a total disregard losses of life during this campaign? Many of the losses are unfortunate but hardly our fault. Are you suggesting that Iraq was better off when Saddam was slaughtering people in the millions during his notorious reign of terror? (most of which didnt deserve it)

It sounds like people will spin anything any which way to insult and discredit our president for no good reason.
People seem to think so...

Soooooooo... If you are looking for Jesus he works at Walmart....
he's not smart enough to be the anti -christ but he sure has a lot of blood on his hands.
Bush is using Christianity to sucker an entire nation.
Bush is only the false prophet if you are the anti christ. Grow up. This is politics and politics is politics and life is life...there is little of truth between the two (though I like and enjoy Mr George personally)
You are so far out of reality that you really need to stick you head back up your butt so you can smell the crap you are spreading.
heavens no!!

Bush is far from the anti christ

the anti christ likes the United Nations....
He is a GREAT MAN and you are a JACKASS!
bush is not smart enough to be the anti-christ
You mean the anti -Christ is him don't you?The false prophet would be Pat and bunch.
That is absolutely a lie.he has never said God told him. Where did you come from. Again here we are bashing the President that was voted in by the majority. Do you people ever say a kind word about anything??
hahaha YOU ARE LYING! I KNOW GWB and he would never say that, but you liberal Muslim lovers will say anything to rile the people who HAVE NO CLUE what TRUTH is! HEY! just expressing MY OPINION JUST LIKE YOU! even though you are ill informed! read a book or something, just quit LYING!
didint god then also tell him in his dreams to give up his wealth and power and help the poor and disadvantaged
NO! He is not the Antichrist or the puppet of the antichrist.

The Anti christ is suppose to come from the middle east. In his first appearence he is suppose to be wearing a blue turban.

What color was Bin Ladin's tuban when we first heard of him??
Perhaps the Anti-Christ is trying to blame others, to throw people off his trail?? Hmmmmmmm!
Just reversing Vicky L's answer around.

You mean the anti-Christ is Pat and bunch don't you? The false prophet would be him. Pat and the bunch can only preach to their followers from their evangelical podiums. Where they use Bush to preach to the whole world under their direction using his media opportunities.

I had an earlier post from last night - where asker was having debate with his ';neo-nazi friend'; about bush. (Askers words not mine) I gave him a couple of search links, and told him to check out #5 in the list out of one of them. I just went there to retrieve that info, and looking at the list it has mysteriously been removed. So I did another search based on what I remembered #5 was. And here is what I finally found that was instead moved.

Putting it all together

I already knew Bush thought God wanted him to win, but didn't know about that.

BUSH: GOD TOLD ME TO INVADE

President George Bush has claimed he was told by God to invade Iraq and attack Osama bin Laden's stronghold of Afghanistan as part of a divine mission to bring peace to the Middle East, security for Israel, and a state for the Palestinians.

The President made the assertion during his first meeting with Palestinian leaders in June 2003, according to a BBC series which will be broadcast this month.

In the programmeElusive Peace: Israel and the Arabs, which starts on Monday, the former Palestinian foreign minister Nabil Shaath says Mr Bush told him and Mahmoud Abbas, former prime minister and now Palestinian President: ';I'm driven with a mission from God. God would tell me, 'George, go and fight those terrorists in Afghanistan.' And I did, and then God would tell me, 'George go and end the tyranny in Iraq,' and I did.';

And ';now again';, Mr Bush is quoted as telling the two, ';I feel God's words coming to me: 'Go get the Palestinians their state and get the Israelis their security, and get peace in the Middle East.' And by God, I'm gonna do it.';

Mr Abbas remembers how the US President told him he had a ';moral and religious obligation'; to act. The White House has refused to comment on what it terms a private conversation. But the BBC account is anything but implausible, given how throughout his presidency Mr Bush, a born-again Christian, has never hidden the importance of his faith.
