Paul Mua'Dib was punished. He lost his concubine in childbirth and his eyes. : ) Also, Haary Potter is much more popular than Dune was.
mostly people ignore Dune because they have either:
a) never heard of it (which I find blasphemous)
or
b)its too complicated for them to read (I have headr this from SO many people)
I wonder if there was backlash against the DUNE series as there has been against Harry Potter.
