Jesus said his generation would live to see the kingdom of god on earth so isn't he just another false prophet?

Just because people don't recognize it doesn't mean its not there. His kingdom lives in me.Jesus said his generation would live to see the kingdom of god on earth so isn't he just another false prophet?
Another false prophet? not at all. In all three of the synoptic Gospels, this promise is made immediately prior to the Transfiguration (Mark 9:1-8; Luke 9:27-36). Furthermore the word for ';kingdom'; can be translated ';royal splendor';, Therefore it seems most natural to interpret his promise as a reference to the Transfiguration, which some of his disciples--------Peter, James, and John, would witness only 6 days later.Jesus said his generation would live to see the kingdom of god on earth so isn't he just another false prophet?
the passage referring to the fig tree blooming again, many old testament prophets spoke of Israel being scattered and gathered again..mmm 1900 years withoutr a homeland is a remarkable; the prophecy some interpret as being fullfilled in 1948, however it might not of been fullfilled till 1968 when they gained Jerusalem as many of the prophecies o this period deal with that city. A generation can be a period of 30 to 70 years; so you are a bit premature in your assumption. But when you look at Russia and iran allied, a near certain one world global financial system on the horizon, the temple institute has everything ready for the 3rd temple; the great falling away is happening in the church; the gospel has gone out to every nation; are you sure you really want to bet against the coming of the Lord?
Those statements (Matthew 16:28, Mark 9:1, Luke 9:27) are each immediately followed by the account of the Transfiguration, which is a revelation of Christ in his glory and of his kingdom. ';Now about eight days after these sayings he took with him Peter and John and James and went up on the mountain to pray. And as he was praying, the appearance of his face was altered, and his clothing became dazzling white. And behold, two men were talking with him, Moses and Elijah, who appeared in glory and spoke of his departure, which he was about to accomplish at Jerusalem. Now Peter and those who were with him were heavy with sleep, but when they became fully awake they saw his glory and the two men who stood with him.'; Luke 9:28-32
Yes that would be true If that's exactly what it said

But the Bible dose not say that in those exact words ,

Maybe your question is an attempt to get people to actually read the Bible or maybe you are testing peoples intelligence .

If that's the case I passed your test ,,,I do have a masters in theology

(just read my profile and you might learn some thing )

dude he did not speak English to his peeps and so much is lost in translation. How do you know what is meant by the word ';generation?'; You don't.

I believe everything Jesus said because he is the only man nobody has ever written a bad word about. Everyone who wrote about this ';Jesus'; said good things. Jesus never reportedly said anything bad about someone else so he had to be quite special. He was never caught lying or doing anything bad or somebody would have reported it. For this reason I trust him and believe everything he said was true. He is like no other man who has ever lived. I believe he was who he said he was because he had no reason to lie. He had no detectable ego according to all that was written. Human nature is the only thing that never changes so if he did anything bad or wrong some human would have reported it. I believe!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!
And where exactly are you referencing such a claim so we can verify your statement here - cuz I don't believe He said exactly THAT.....

If you are going to reference a scriptural passage and make claims about it - you really need to SITE the passage.
Peter, James, and John saw the kingdom of God on the Mount of Transfiguration. Any Bible student knows that.
this generation shall not pass until these prophecies are fulfilled. He was the first of the 4 horsemen in revelation... The prophecy began when he died
WE are ALL of His generation~ we are ALL children of God.

God IS, and Jesus LIVES~
They'll just redefine ';generation'; so that it still works.
That was the ultimate failure of the ultimate prophecy. QED
It really does not make any difference, Religion is the act of Illusion!
Sandwiches are tasty
The Kingdom of God is on Earth. Just because you are not aware of it, does not mean it is not here.
Could you provide a scripture reference
Jesus said be nice and just get along with people and stop trying to pss everyone off.
No, Jesus was not a false prophet. Maybe He was referring to reincarnation...
You iz retard.
Take that Christians!
Hence the myth of the Wandering Jew...
Jesus IS God!! %26lt;')))%26gt;%26lt;

No, the Kingdom of God came in power on the day of Pentecost.

Joh 3:5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

Act 28:31 Preaching the kingdom of God, and teaching those things which concern the Lord Jesus Christ, with all confidence, no man forbidding him.

Act 1:4 And, being assembled together with them, commanded them that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the Father, which, saith he, ye have heard of me.

Act 1:5 For John truly baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days hence.

Act 1:6 When they therefore were come together, they asked of him, saying, Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel?

Act 1:7 And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power.

Act 1:8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.
