How can you tell the difference between a false prophet and a true prophet?

A false prophets, prophesies WILL NOT come true, and a true prophets will.How can you tell the difference between a false prophet and a true prophet?
A true Prophet will tell you things to come both near and far (in time) and they come true!

It's the easiest thing in the world to tell a false Prophet. Jesus said many false Prophets will come before Him. If anything deviates from the Bible, they are a false Prophet. God does not change His mind. He has no reason to ever change His mind. Read your Bible and you will know a false Prophet in a New York second.

We are to try the spirits to see if they are of God. 1st John 4:1-3 It says to Try the spirits to see if they are of God. 1st. Corinthians 14:29 Matthew 24:5 If one claims to be a Prophet of God, Then He WILL NOT GO AGAINST THE WORD OF GOD. If a man Prophetcies %26amp; it don't come to pass, believe him not. Really simple: false prophets always asks for money.
A true prophet will never tell you to do something that is contrary to the teachings of Christ. A false prophet will appeal to your ego.
Ask for and inspect the evidences. Look at the targets, the means and the achievements. The truth shines and speaks for itself, the false is gloomy.
