How can you tell if your ';Prophet'; is one of the false prophets that Jesus said would deceive people in the?

latter daysHow can you tell if your ';Prophet'; is one of the false prophets that Jesus said would deceive people in the?
If the prophet promotes homophobia, then he/she is false. We are told that we will know them by their ';fruits.'; The fruits of homophobia are pride, ridicule, lies, reviling, prejudice, discrimination, division, unjust laws, hatred, bigotry, gay children being disowned and thrown out of homes by heterosexual parents, people being fired from jobs, attacks, bullying, violence, suicide, destroyed lives, murder of gay people and utter disregard for Christ‘s commandment to treat others as we want to be treated. [';A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit'; (Matthew 7:18)]How can you tell if your ';Prophet'; is one of the false prophets that Jesus said would deceive people in the?
The concept is that a false prophet would not teach the principles found in the ';scriptures';, which typically means the Bible. The same holds true for false teachers and those who claim they have Christ (or are Christ).

Even more important though, is that the false teachers and false prophets would lay claim that true prophets are false and true teachers are false by twisting the meanings of the scriptures. Therefore, beware of any who claim to know that someone of a particular church is a false prophet or a fraud. It may be those making the claim who are the false ones.

Satan uses a lot of different methods to lead the children of men astray and this is just one of them.
';The testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy” (Revelation 19:10). A genuine prophet consistently points people towards Jesus Christ the Lord and Savior. False prophets have other, non-Christ-honoring agendas.

There are genuine prophets alive today ... and tons of false ones!
Do his/her prophecies come true. Test their teachings according to scripture. If it doesn't line up with it then they are False. Like the Bereans did with Paul in Acts. Also where does the glory go to God or the prophet. Example Benny Hinn the glory went to him not God in the long run, this is the act of a false prophet.
You may say to yourselves, ';How can we know when a message has not been spoken by the LORD?'; If what a prophet proclaims in the name of the LORD does not take place or come true, that is a message the LORD has not spoken. That prophet has spoken presumptuously. Do not be afraid of him.

(Deuteronomy 18:21-22)

For false Christs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and miracles to deceive even the elect—if that were possible.

(Matthew 24:24)
Simple.

Compare what he says to the Scriptures.
by all 3.

Lord in the heart.

Scripture

a bonafide living spiritual master

true spiritual master's words will never contradict scripture and Lord in the heart. and unlike what some think He does not keep quiet at all times either.
Does what the prophet add up or line up with the bible !!!

Ask God to help you. This can be done through earnest prayer.

Prophecies do not add rules to the Bible but help us apply Scripture to our lives. If a person says that God made a new rule, then it's a lie.

If anything they say contradicts the Bible, then they are a false prophet.

The easiest way to identify them is to research using a bible what they are predicting. Make notes, examine what they say against the bible and is contrary to historical and evidence. Alternatively you can wait for a long time to see if what they say comes never comes to pass.

If your ';Prophet'; preaches a different Gospel from what is in the Bible or he claims he got his message from angel or if his ';Prophesies'; don't come to pass.
Jesus ever said,'; A tree is known by the fruit its producing...A good tree will produce good fruit and a bad fruit will produce bad fruit...';
Don't blindly follow. Know your leaders' history and agenda. You can see through the lies of anyone you take the time to understand.
When Jesus returns, he is not coming to teach the world, but to judge it.
The 1 John 4 test is a good place to start.
By their fruits ye shall know them.
What is my prophet? I personally don't have one. Do you?
Jesus said that the Holy Ghost would teach us all things.
