';LIFE'; as described in the NT must not mean all the material crap that we acumulate in life, but spiritual well-being, strength.





How does having all the fancy new garbage you can buy increase your spiritual strength?If Prosperity Gospel is a sham, does that make Joel Osteen a false prophet?
It is, and it does. I feel very sad when I see thousands of people being led astray by that bozo.If Prosperity Gospel is a sham, does that make Joel Osteen a false prophet?
NO it means that his dad was a false prophet ..





John osteen was a much more charasmatic preacher .. what it actually really means is .. john was called and joel just happened to be there and did it because the pressures fromn the church were on him ..





The statement of faith repeated before the service was his dads and I always thought it was nice.. this is my bible .. I am who it says i am ........i will never never ever be the same ..





But the prosperity gospel isn't denying christ .in fact it wholehearted ly affirms him .. you can say it's an overstatement ..

Actually he preaches more than just material gain. Very often he is like a positive motivational speaker who inspires those who watch him to keep trying. I think Joel is all right, even though he is not my favorite. When it comes to preaching Christ, I think we need to be like Paul:

18What then? notwithstanding, every way, whether in pretence, or in truth, Christ is preached; and I therein do rejoice, yea, and will rejoice.





For some, Joel plants a seed, that others in Christ will further nurture.
Being A child of Gods is to prosper we are supposed to prosper from the inside out. There is supposed to be evidence of these things. Heaven's streets are paved with gold, filled with mansions, %26amp; pearl gates. God wants the best for His children. God Bless You!
Yes -- I was just talking about this subject tonight ! However, there are some people who have many possesions, who LOVE God more than any other, but it's Gods' chosing, and it's His Judgment they must endure --

He tries to be the best he can for God, not for you or anybody else. If that something you don't get then you don't understand what faith and compassion is.
Both the ';prosperity gospel'; and Joel Olsteen should be jettisoned into deep space.
